Grant Bordner

PRESIDENT | Co-Founder | STUDENT AT OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY

Grant was born in Madison, Wisconsin. He has studied the piano, drums and guitar. Grant is a 2020 graduate of Lincoln Sudbury Regional High School. He graduated from The Ohio State University in 2024 with a double major in Honors Molecular Biology and Genetics with a minor in Bioethics. He is working and preparing for medical school. Grant also enjoys spending time with his dogs and downhill skiing.

Ellie Bordner

Co-FoundeR | STUDENT AT FAIRFIELD UNIVERSITY

Ellen was born in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. She has studied the piano, flute and voice. Ellie is a 2023 Graduate of Lincoln Sudbury Regional High School. She is currently a student at Fairfield University’s Dolan School of Business. Ellie enjoys working out, spending time with her dogs as well as baking.

Tom Bordner

Vice President OF IA | GENERAL COUNSEL & SENIOR DIRECTOR INTELLECTUAL ATTORNEY AT VESIGEN THERAPEUTICS

Tom provides strategic advice and practical assistance in all aspects of patent and other forms of intellectual property (trade secret, trademark, and copyright) acquisition, global portfolio development, and management. Tom’s practice involves creating worldwide patent portfolios, licensing, and creating enforcement strategies in the fields of bio technology as well as the arts. Additionally, Tom specializes in providing legal opinions related to validity and enforceability, patentability, freedom to operate, patent portfolio evaluations, due diligence investigations, copyrights and trademarks. He is an avid Ohio State Football fan.

Amy Hale

Amy Hale serves as our Treasurer and is a Certified Public Accountant. Amy resides in Upper Arlington Ohio with her husband Adam, daughter Hattie and son JD. When she isn't busy crunching numbers she enjoys working out and spending time with family and friends. Amy is in awe of Grant and Ellie's passion to help others and could not be more proud of them!

Renee Bordner

CLERK | FOUNDER AND INSTRUCTOR AT NOTE-WORTHY EXPERIENCES

Renee created Note-worthy Experiences Music Studio in 2007. Renee holds a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Education. Renee's passion is teaching music and helping students explore their talents. When Renee is not teaching or leading the Note-worthy Teaching Team, she can be found walking the family dogs, gardening, or spending time with her family.

Demi Katinas

Demi was born in Boston, Massachusetts. She currently studies Finance and Psychology at Bentley University and is graduating May of 2023. At Bentley, she works as a tutor and is the Organizational Coaching Coordinator within the Tutoring Program. After graduation, Demi will be working as a Management Consultant at PwC. When she was younger she danced and played the piano and she continues to have a love for dance and music.
